BUILDING EMAIL LISTS – HOW TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR FOLLOWERS

Jul 7, 2017

I have had some serious blog writers block these past couple of weeks. Naturally I googled, what to blog about- haha, and I actually came about a very handy article from Blog Tyrant, apparently I am not the only one who has asked this question.

One thing that he says is essential to blogging, is building an e-mail list, because you just cant rely on search engines alone. Swiftpage Act! keeps anyone that contacts us in an easily searchable CRM that can quickly automate mundane data entry and even provides free E-Marketing. This is a great cost effective solution for all of those bloggers out there that want to hold onto their followers.

HURRICANE SEASON IS HERE – HOW TO PREPARE

Jun 21, 2017

Here are some things to remember during hurricane season, or if you receive a Hurricane Watch or Warning:

  • Fill up your gas tank, everyone has  seen people trying to get out of town, only to run out of gas in traffic.
  • Charge any devices that you may need to use, especially cell phones and computers.
  • Set your refrigerator and freezer to the lowest setting before the storm hits and make sure not to open it frequently so that your food stays cool and doesn’t spoil. Consider putting a thermometer in your refrigerator to make sure that food is at an acceptable temperature. Temperatures about 40 degrees F rapidly grow bacteria.
  • Ready your disaster supply kit, including; first aid, batteries and flashlights.
  • Make sure you have enough food and other essential supplies in case you are flooded in or lose power.
  • If there is a hurrican warning, defintely board up your windows and remove or secure any items that could blow over and cause damage in strong winds.
  • Remember to stay safe and don’t go into flooded waters, there can be hidden dangers in the water, and electrical currents from downed power lines.

ACCESSING THE CLOUD FROM A WEB BROWSER – CITRIX RECEIVER FITS THE BILL

Jun 1, 2017

We have found the Citrix Receiver to be an invaluable tool when implementing hosted services, but in certain situations being able to use a web browser can be a preferable option.

Fear not, our hosting platform has the ability to access your account through a web browser as well. For instance, if you have to use an alternative pc or laptop, in a pinch, or on the road, you can simply use the browser rather than downloading the citrix receiver. You will still be getting the added security benefits of citrix, with this option.

This is also a great alternative available if you are unable to log in. While our IT Engineers fix your problem, you can still access your files from anywhere using the web browser, and your desktop will appear exactly as it was before.

Already have hosting with Tandem CloudTop? Using Internet Explorer, go to https://my.cloudtopoffice.com and simply login with your username and password.

If you are interested in having your software hosted, please send us an email, or call 866-710-4228. We would love to help you find a solution!
