Quotewerks is a great product for getting good-looking interactive quotes in the hands of your customer in a timely fashion. We use Quotevalet every day in our business to send quotes, using just a link. These quotes are tracked to ensure that they are received and to show the interest of the customer.

There are a couple of tips I wanted to share with you when setting up your quote so that your customers can pay through the quote. These tips have helped us, our customers and our associates.

QW TIPS on Setting up payment options through Quotevalet

• Make sure that you add an amount for “deposit required” in the lower left hand corner of your quote.
  • Simply click the box in the “deposit required” field and select your preferred option. We usually choose “Full amount”
• Make sure that your items are correctly set either for taxable or non taxable for each line item and that the tax rate is accurate under “Sale Info” for the customer.
• In the “Sale Info Tab” on the right is a field for Payment Options.
  • Click “add” to add the preferred payment options
  • *You must right-click each payment option and click “Select Payment Option” – the payment option will turn green when selected.*

• Make sure and save these preferences in a template so that you can reuse this setting for future customers.
  •  File > “Save as Template”
  • If you would like to reuse this template for a different customer, simply Click File > New > and choose the correct template.

My young daughter has an irrational fear of giants because of something my brother said to me on our recent road trip from Sugar Land TX to Krause Springs TX– a wonderful campground, and if you are anywhere near the Austin area, you should definitely spend at least a day in the beautiful spring pools. It is an incredibly relaxing and easygoing fun trip that you can share with your friends and family.

When my children have irrational fears of things, I tell them it is because they don’t know enough about the subject, so I searched for giants, finding mostly fantastical creatures – nothing to be feared. The coolest giant find was an Oarfish that lives deep in the ocean, and is hardly ever seen, but could be where the legends of sea serpents come from. They can grow up to 26 ft and swim in strange undulating waves, which underwater looks truly spectacular, but they are quite eerie out of their natural element.

Of course when reading of gigantism, one finds themselves looking in the opposite end of the spectrum – dwarfism. And that’s how we happened upon one of the cutest little creatures in the ocean …Baby Lumpsuckers or Cyclopteridae that make perfect surprised facial expressions. I just wanted to share a fun moment that started from the fear of the unknown – we love discovering new and diverse wildlife, and I hope you do too!

Here are instructions on how to take a screenshot of your Quickbooks Help and About Page on your PC. With this you will be able to see your QB Version, license number, product number, and number of users:

• Open your existing Quickbooks program.
• Hit the F2 key. A window will open with your license info.
• Take a screenshot of the license window by pressing the Print Screen Key. (it might be labeled as PrtScn, PrtScrn or simply Print)
  (Can’t find it? Look in the upper-right part of your keyboard.)
• Press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot into the document of your choice
